Testimonials

V. Spremich

After an accident and months of rehab, I began classes in Tai Chi at White Tiger three years ago.  Beginning with a chair and a walker, I slowly progressed in strength and balance, thanks to the careful professional care from Mr. Ito and Mrs. Gotti, the instructors.  I assumed a school that had been in business for as long as White Tiger knew how to teach Tai Chi, but what I learned is they also understand body mechanics, strengths and limitations of all age groups, and the psychology of when and how to encourage effort.

With a feeling of community, the classes are fun, encouraging, but always a challenge. The results for me has been increased flexibility, strength and most important, balance.

"During the 4 years I practiced at White Tiger, I learned lessons that are priceless. "My child has been going to Ito's White Tiger for almost two years now. He has learned life lessons that will guide him as he grows. The challenge level and pace of advancement is very appropriate for him. I appreciate and respect the fact that kids will not automatically advance, but that they have to demonstrate knowledge and application of skills at each level." ~ Jennifer V.

“Training, learning and growing up at Ito’s White Tiger, from before I turned 5 and staying active with my martial practice until family and career started to take priority at 30, instilled in me perseverance, endurance, mindfulness of myself and others, the ability to set and reach goals, family values, and many other traits that I still strive to hold….The mindset of practice and diligence that was ingrained in me at an early age at White Tiger helped carry me through UC Berkeley’s Physics and Astronomy program.”
